poor visual… why not the racket about to hit a dough (instead of a tennis ball?)

  • 3. AbdallaH SumriN  |  January 3rd, 2008 at 2:15 pm

That’s could be nice too, but this visual still ok.

  • 4. biteme  |  January 3rd, 2008 at 2:45 pm

It’s Publicis Graphics so maybe I am not neutral, but I think if you show it as a racket about to hit the dough it’s making a mockery of food of in the case of bread of “NE3MEH” no?

    good point biteme.

  • 6. Creative Rules  |  January 3rd, 2008 at 2:55 pm

    Presentable but not surprising.

  • 7. restless  |  January 3rd, 2008 at 6:08 pm

the idea is good .. But I think that the visual needs more work

  • 8. Creative Rules  |  January 3rd, 2008 at 11:28 pm

It would be alot better if the art director had spent a little more time reshaping the bread into round tennis balls.

    Then it would work.

nice stuff, my boss would do this

  • 10. Creative Rules  |  January 5th, 2008 at 9:16 pm

The idea is the tennis balls.

    Wrong shape I’m afraid.

    Who’s your boss Moey?

  • 11. biteme  |  January 5th, 2008 at 10:08 pm

the idea is; a place famous for kebab and fresh bread etc… is sponsoring a tennis tournament, why does it have to be tennis balls…

  • 12. Creative Rules  |  January 5th, 2008 at 10:38 pm

    Derrrr,

Because the whole creative idea (and the brilliant twist) is that the bread rolls are sitting on the raquette like tennis balls.

My God you really don’t get it do you?

(The boys in Beruit must be pleased your not trying to run the show over there.)

  • 13. biteme  |  January 5th, 2008 at 11:13 pm

What? did you even understand what you said? I think you just showed the level of your thinking…you see they use this long type of pizza stick to put the bread in the oven, so it is the tennis racket replacing the stick, rather than the bread rolls replicating tennis balls…and then you just had to throw in an insult, which just shows what a retard you really are…think before you type!

  • 14. biteme  |  January 5th, 2008 at 11:18 pm

I’m still laughing at how retarded you really are LOL…you took the short bus to school didnt ya?

  • 15. Creative Rules  |  January 5th, 2008 at 11:32 pm

Yes you could take it that the raquette is the thing that passses in the bread rolls (or pizza or what ever) but it’s much much stronger (because it’s the focus of the visual) to have the bread shaped like tennis balls sitting on the raquette.

But we’ll forgive you… afterall…you are on the other side of the creative department aren’t you?

  • 16. sleepingowl  |  January 6th, 2008 at 11:50 am

Has no one noticed how the two breads there are “suggestive” of a woman’s breasts? Or are my eyes deceiving me?

    Very crass!

  • 17. Creative Rules  |  January 6th, 2008 at 5:05 pm

Your’e reading far far too much into it.

Either that or you have a breast fetish,

    LOL

  • 18. Creative Rules  |  January 7th, 2008 at 8:03 am

    Biteme,

I take back the unessessary remark about the Beruit office in post 12 above.

We all agree this ad is not quite there yet. So I stick by my opinion that it would be greatly improved if the bread rolls were more round like tennis balls.

The idea could be taken either way whether it’s the raquette as the twist or the bread as tennis balls. In fact you could have both and in MHO it would work alot better.

    Cheers

  • 19. sleepingowl  |  January 7th, 2008 at 2:30 pm

First, I’m a girl…so no to your fetish remark.

Second, why else would they have two breads like that?

    Anyway…doesn’t matter.

  • 20. amre husseini  |  January 7th, 2008 at 5:52 pm

Creative Rules…thanks man means a lot!

Sleepingowl, they’re just two pieces of bread …

  • 21. Gibbo  |  January 13th, 2008 at 8:36 pm

definately looks like a pair of ‘cans’. strategically placed poppy seeds. mmmmmmmm.

  • 22. ansaihi  |  January 14th, 2008 at 2:47 pm

I don’t think they meant the breast thing, even with the poppy seeds… Anyhow, the bread is just fine, if you show tennis balls it wouldn’t add much to the idea. Did u imagine that with tenni-breads??
the only right remark is about the ARt direction/photo enhancement (could have shaded the front side of the bread to highlight the flames-light, this would give a warm feeling to the ad.)
