Watch World Cup up in the air (and on the ground)
June 6th, 2006 Zeid Nasser (Admin)

Unhappy about subscribing to ART to watch the World Cup?
Here’s a solution: Travel!
Actually, you’ll still watch the match 24 hours later, but when it’s a long-haul journey …. you won’t feel the difference
Emirates Airlines, a World Cup official partner, has announced that it’s signed a deal with ART to screen every game in the tournament on its in-flight entertainment service, but with a one day delay.
Emirates is also showing live coverage at dedicated viewing stations at 16 airports in 10 countries.
So even on the ground, if you’re waiting for your Emirates flight, you can watch some football.
Not a bad idea at all. Here’s the press release on Emirates Airlines site.
