The only thing this campaign is going to “5alli9″ is my LIFE. This is beyond cringeworthy–typical corny, poorly produced/conceived Saudi advertising. They should’ve given a call to Egypt or Lebanon for more original and ENTERTAINING ideas. Barf.
On an another note, Ramadan Kareem! lol

Hii
This comes from a ramadan Vimto Lover…To me and my family Ramadan and Vimto come and go together
First of all the Vimto ads were not only unacceptable they are shockingly cheap.
The cast are not only far from looking Saudi they are far from looking human. They are monsters that do not resemble any class of any of the Gulf region.
The stories are not funny or amusing AT ALL, on the other hand they are disgusting to a degree of looking away from the TV screen.
The concept “they are gona finish it” hmmm,,,SO WHAT!!! let them finish it and enjoy it…so they can buy some more and enjoy it AGAIN. isn’t the idea of and advertisement in Ramadan is to SELL SELL SELL????
The stories:
- Sick stories with monsters acting “people dying holding a Vimto” not funny and WHYYYYY???
- The wedding gift with the guy stuffing cake in his mouth OH MY GOD….The most disgusting thing in the history of TV ads. and i was holding a glass of vimto ewwwwww made it more disgusting.
- The monsters around the fire with a giant barbarian killer twitching …. please kill me before i see one more ad
That was it for me and my family …we change the channel when there is a possibility of a Vimto ad
I’m sorry to say Vimto was ruined for us this year
The come back next year has to be “finish it” and enjoy it
and think of something to make up for every *person that hated Vimto because of these ads in Ramadan
* That’s almost 1/2 the population I’m guessing
Sorry for being blunt, rude or straight forward but it was that bad.

It seems vimto have invested alot during this month, people have noticed, however, the TVcs are really not acceptable by major audience “people are discussing it alot” with a negative comments. For example, some comments like “am thinking not drink vimto any more”
it would’ve be done much much better. i agree they succeeded on making people curiosity but it is not entertaining if that meant to be!!!!

Another stupid ad to be added to the pile.
Vimto should start thinking how to sell their drink when it’s not Ramadan.

I hated the campaign so much that I went to the web to try and find who’s responsible for this “..$..” Ad and tell him how bad I and the rest of the people in my country (Bahrain) feel about it.
Unfortunately, JWT showed how un-creative they are. The comment by Mr. Talal above to have Lebanese working on creating this Ad, please note that JWT is dominated by Lebanese but the problem is not with them, itโs with who paid for the creativity.
I think the blame should also go out to the channels that viewed these cheap Ads. Donโt they care about their ratings anymore?
For few years now I was discussing with the family the alternative drink for Ramadhan, we only went once to the nearby cold store to find the perfect solution.
