Trends Magazine: Fly on the wall TVC & print ad

December 12th, 2007 Zeid Nasser (Admin)

Trends Fly

Vincent Raffray writes: “We’re often asked to do barter deals with some of our suppliers. Obviously budgets are small, but sometimes you can do some cool work. This spot for Trends Magazine had to be dead simple – some people have said too simple, but I think it works well and it will get noticed. The print ad was shot by Tommy Morris and the TV spot was digitally done by Modelcraft.”

Vincent, i think the tvc is great and I think the simpler the better but i feel the print is weak. I know youre trying to remind people of the tvc but as a stand alone i think more thought could have gone into it.

Allmost exactly the same as a commercial for The Economist, a brittish financial newspaper, same idea, same tagline, same insect.
