Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), the emirate at the tip of the UAE, will get a media city; thanks to a $1 billion investment.
Mirage Holdings has been licensed to operate aFilm and Media City, with plans to open a film museum, institute and hold an annual film festival.
This news follows last week’s announcement by Hollywood Studios International, a US publicly traded entertainment holding company, that it was establishing its headquarters at the Dubai Studio City.
