THG flexing its muscles

The Holding Group (THG) is the Middle East’s largest marketing communications group, employing 1340 professionals, in 35 offices in 15 countries serving 260 clients. The group includes TEAM Y&R, Intermarkets Advertising, Mediaedge:cia, Asdaa PR, Polaris PR and Wunderman.

THG has announced that it expects regional billings to cross 1.4 billion Dirhams this year (around $400 million).

Staggering!

No wonder Joseph Ghossoub (picture above) is smiling.

    They need to fix their own name. A communication conglomorage with the name “The Holding Group”? Or is the THG supposed to make the name OK?

    I guess that’s typical in the advertising world. I have never understood why these big communication agencies have such boring names with lots of letters in them.
