Floral Scented Clorox. Do not step on the flowers
The new floral-scented Clorox creates the impression of real flowers. So what if you can’t see them! If you can smell them, they are there. Hence, the ‘Do Not Step On The Flowers’ sign.

there are good ads and there are clever ads. this is a clever ad, it is self congratulatory, it is like smell the flowers, cannot see it, association with freshness, get the picture, very clever, bravo. logically everything falls into place.
i dont know what it lacks, maybe its connect. maybe advertsising should go beyond logic and appeal, reach, relate, connect instantly rather than be a victim of analysis.

The line of thought is good, but it could have been taken a little more further where the need of having a big sign board would be eliminated.
Just thinking aloud.
Would love to know what other options were explored.
