And trite. And cliched. Pencil, eraser - obvious choices when it comes to their usage with a proposition of 'really tough crossword'. Would rather have used an ink pen and twisted it to say, 'Dare to take it on?' since it does require some kind of genius to attempt the Times Crossword with an ink pen. A Times Crossword is aimed at intellectuals with a huge vocabulary and an unlimited appetite for solving twisted cryptic clues. Somehow the ad appears very dumbed down for this audience. Btw, try solving this one. Clue: Stop the car by the see-saws and the swings. 4-letter word. :-) Bloody boring. And trite. And cliched.
