The third biggest media?

An interesting report by Aegis Group, the parent of Carat media, suggests that Internet will become the third biggest media in countries which were ‘early Internet adopters’, primarily citing Sweden and South Korea as surely achieveing this prediction in 2006.
TV and newspapers will remain ahead of the Internet in those markets, but not in the long-run.
That’s quite encouraging for Internet marketers, isn’t it?
So, now the question is, how late were we in adopting the Internet in the Middle East?
The rest of the report doesn’t offer good news to tradtional media amd even suggests that overall gloal advertising expenditures are dropping.
