Unfortunetly the heavy handed art direction gets in the way of the message.

I visit here quite often, but it’s rare that I leave a comment. However, the Khaleej Times series of ‘public service’ ads is leaving me increasingly bewildered. Does anyone actually read these before they run? Truly awful body copy aside, can someone tell me how a heart attack being ‘delayed’, a fire ‘waiting’ or crime being ‘held up’ can be seen as being negative? You can’t write a headline that is precisely antonymical to the message you’re trying to deliver and expect the audience to understand what it is you’re trying to say.

Personally, I hope my impending heart attack is delayed for a good forty or fifty years.
