Terror Has No Religion

Terror Has No Religion is a campaign that’s causing some controversy and discussion, as you can see in detail on HoutLust.
The campaign includes a TV commercial, which you must see. We had mentioned it here when it was being made in June.
There are also a variety of print designs for newspapers and outdoor, a couple of which are shown above.
The debate centers around ‘How Effective Is This Campaign’, which is primarily targeting Iraq and is already running on several Arab Satellite TV channels.
Will it influence would-be suicide bombers, by highlighting the innocent human losses of such actions?
Check out the campaign website.

Do you seriously think a suicide bomber is getting ready to blow himself up into pieces will tune into AlArabia and just in time for this campaign commercials?
these are like any pre-emptive anti-terror measures targeted at citizens, it induces the necessary feelings of fear and its antidote of the illusion of being in control, but the Iraqi government doesn’t seem to know what exactly they want, do they want to frighten people even more or do they want to show they are in control? I believe only the former was achieved.
It’s more PR than anything else, terrorist minds are being missed by miles when choosing such media, I understand that similar commercials with even more complex plot and emotional cadences ran on Saudi media after the series of terrorist bombings here in Saudi, one showing the guy blowing himself up in front of a major building even after spotting his father among the crowed about to be massacred!
