Terrible, tasteless ad for ‘face scrub’

Some scars never go. Indian Berberry face scrub from VLCC
It is quite shocking that M&C Saatchi in India actually used such a concept to advertise ‘face scrub’!
How could the client allow it? I wonder.
Check out the heavy debate this ad has caused at Ads of The World.

I think they deleted it from Ads of the World. Not a tasteful ad, but 9/11 may not a very sensitive issue in the rest of the world as it is in the US.

On second reference, it is apparently a M & C Satchi work, but that of a former employee there. http://adweek.blogs.com/adfreak/2006/09/911_advertising.html
