Nothing new for a CD who brags too much about his awards. btw, I prefer the old background than the new one.

  • 2. Devils advocate  |  December 4th, 2007 at 11:55 am

that is the ugliest shoe i have ever seen!

  • 3. Devils advocate  |  December 4th, 2007 at 11:56 am

this should be a greenpeace ad not a shoe ad

  • 4. Kre8tive  |  December 4th, 2007 at 12:11 pm

This is a recycle.. I saw the same shoe from an ad 2 years back at the KREA awards night where they have a different background on it.. WHY ON EARTH IS THE SAME SHOE showcased 2 years later in a different season????!!! Louai, people are not that stupid not to figure things out.. IS THIS ALL YOU HAVE? Shame on you.. Haram.

  • 5. restless  |  December 4th, 2007 at 12:38 pm

its good i like it … but yes i agree the shoe is ugly :) beside the picture is little bit dark it should be more shining because its taken under the sun

  • 6. wil  |  December 4th, 2007 at 4:37 pm

There’s no need to recycle Louai. Just hire new part-timers so you can lay claim to new awards again.

  • 7. Moey  |  December 4th, 2007 at 8:05 pm

crappy as usual, after all its from paragon *pukes on floor*

  • 8. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 4:13 pm

    :)

  • 9. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 4:41 pm

1- We designed the ad NOT the product.

  • 10. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 4:45 pm

2- At least the ad was PUBLISHED (not like some of the stuff sent by some people ;)

  • 11. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 4:47 pm

3- The client (and I) like this backgound more than the first one so we did it the way WE like it.

  • 12. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 4:48 pm

4- the ad is successful becouse of its simplicity…i mean even you remembered it after 2 years even with a different background.

  • 13. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 4:51 pm

5- both the judging pannels of KREA and Summit Creative Aawrds disagree with your openion about this ad…which leads to the logical conclusion that you dont know what the hell you are talking about.

  • 14. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 4:54 pm

6- we dont hire part time staff nor do we need to :) and yes we will continue to win more awards no matter how much it pisses you off.

  • 15. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 4:56 pm

7- When we submitted this ad (and others) it was not mentioned that the work should have been published in a certain time period.

NB. Perhaps you should suggest this to the site administrator.

  • 16. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 5:01 pm

achivers like Paragon have the right to brag…if you losers stop attaking winners and divert this energy towards making your own achivements…the industry will rise.

See Zeid, mafish faida…see who is saying what and why ;)

  • 17. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 5:04 pm

thank you ALL for your valuble input (not really) just trying to be polite ;p

  • 18. The Zone  |  December 5th, 2007 at 7:04 pm

Louai, it’s crazy how much noise there is every time u appear anywhere..Are you ready to shout you discontent in ArabAd Kuwait Special?…Send me an opinion piece where let everything out once and for all…
    Let d fire blow….

    Gee.

  • 19. Wil  |  December 5th, 2007 at 8:49 pm

Was this done by another part-timer or you Louai? I can’t seem to trust ads anymore coming from Paragon.

  • 20. Louai Alasfahani  |  December 5th, 2007 at 11:45 pm

people have the right to express their thoughts…but i would have expected a more mature way in the the choice of words in such a lovely blog site…and thanks for the invite for the ArabAd Kuwait special but i am really not discontent…so i have nothing to “shout”.

i cant help but feel sorry for the ones wasting their energy by attacking me or my agency - instead of focusing on learning from us or by teaching us something usefull from their own work or personal experiance.

i am very much content with our current achivements and soon everyone will see even better work coming from Paragon.

this is my last comment on this blog…so good by and good luck…the caravan continues :) and you know the rest…bye bye…luv ya nigaaaa.

  • 21. Zeid Nasser (Admin)  |  December 6th, 2007 at 1:16 am

    Come on Louai……..

You are a valuable member of this group, and let me be the first to ask you to continue.

The ads you send in, and the active comments you have made make you an AdBlogArabian, as far as I’m concerned!

  • 22. kre8tive  |  December 6th, 2007 at 12:54 pm

Quit already? Oh come on, we just started.. Bhu hu hu..

  • 23. kre8tive  |  December 6th, 2007 at 1:30 pm

Louai, so, You were expecting for some MATURE comments well let me ask you this, Homeboy: WAS YOUR COMMENTS MATURE? what goes up must come down, Carnal.. Lessons learned yet?

  • 24. Mark  |  December 6th, 2007 at 5:49 pm

Since when have the KREA or Summit Creative Awards (summit who?) been the benchmark for creativity?

  • 25. Moey  |  December 7th, 2007 at 4:13 am

LOL Louai that doesn’t deny the fact that paragon is crap and their work is crappier, aren’t you guys ashamed of the stuff you have on your website… an undergraduate can do better! get a life guys like seriously!

  • 26. swaminathan  |  December 8th, 2007 at 9:12 am

    guys

be happy that this creative is not being floated in Europe or Asia ! they would be having animal right activists right in front of their door asking them to shut shop !

we all know that shoes are a product of animal leather ; lets not be inhuman and extend it this far where only the body of the snake remains to be shown !

  • 27. Kre8tive  |  December 8th, 2007 at 10:59 am

Mark, that’s what Louai’s been bragging about, KREA and Summit (who?) has been his benchmarks…lol. What happened to Cannes, Clio, D&AD & Epica? Can’t blame the guy, poor thing.

  • 28. Moey  |  December 8th, 2007 at 6:59 pm

It is Kre8tive, I feel sorry for him.

  • 29. ang  |  December 10th, 2007 at 12:18 am

Funny. Seriously now, show us the real ad u did.

  • 30. Devils advocate  |  December 10th, 2007 at 12:07 pm

  • 31. Louai Alasfahani  |  February 19th, 2008 at 3:04 am
