    I’m confused as to whether the poaching refers to actual lions or poaching ideas out of ad annuals?

    it’s ok “restless” if you didn’t get the ad ! that’s the idea. they probably want to say that soon they’ll win a lion by linking it to Lion poaching in india. Then placing Khaleej times logo. Mixed messages, very poor photoshop skills, no idea. Sorry guys, doesn’t work for me. Remove the bottom line and replace Khaeej time with IKON advertising and you’ll end up with a nice poster for your conference room. :)

    Well if the idea is to link the Cannes Lion with an intention to win at Cannes, it fits the bill.

    Not that I love it, but I like it.

    Santesh Row… Are you working with Gmasco or IKON…Niways that doesn’t matter…It’s really bad yaar…What are u doing? Haven’t you seen the D&AD, One Show and other award books…

    Nita, am with IKON these days. Thank you for your comment. As with all criticism, you take the rough with the smooth…so if you didn’t like it, that’s your opinion. I’ll try and make work that’s more ’sparkling’ yaar. Kusum, IhaveanIdea and Restless, your criticism matters too. Anything to keep bettering oneself. Cheers.

    its clear its scam. why make it a khaleej times ad… when this could be a Dm. The common man won’t get this.. that medal isn’t as popular as the Fifa worldcup or the Oscars.. Total Scam.

    The headline is a mess.

    Better to ask the question:

    Will this will be the only place we’ll see a Lion in the future?

    I agree it’s probably a scam. The idea would only appeal to the Advertising industry and I doubt it actually ran.

    Are you guys ok? who on earth would know that’s a cannes lions? It’s a scam for sure. I bet on it. I highly doubt this is targeted at the advertising industry. come on, work a bit more.
