This is a campaign from 2002 which never ran. It was created by a voluntary group of Jordanian advertising and marketing people, highlighting the hopes of Palestinian children, who like any children across the world just want a chance to realize their dreams in life.

Nice concept, bad execution
4. biteme | November 27th, 2007 at 7:08 pm
Hi restless, it’s very easy to judge (and I know that many times people have asked you about your credentials to judge), but I just have to ask, when you say “nce concept, bad execution” what do you mean, I think you should justify it so people understand your comment. I dont agree with you by the way, but that’s just my opinion…thanks man, and dont take it the wrong way…

Don’t take ‘restless seriously. Restless has similair negative remarks in most of the posts in the blog.

Dean, I’ve followed restless comments on many blogs, and its not that I am offended by them, i think everyone is entitled to their opinion, just trying to find out what he / she defines as “bad or good executions”

it seems some bloggers find this campaign interesting. Here are some of the blogs that have already linked to it:

Dean i have negative remarks toward what’s is bad (in my opinion) .
Biteme, i really like the concept behind these ads but i still think that the execution is not that good meaning:
1- I don’t like how they placed the main line on the photo its kind distracting
2- I don’t like the how they colored the heroes using one color (taken from the Palestinian flag ), it would have been much better if they used a well known photo of them with its real colors
3- I don’t like how they are forcing the flag colors in every single element ,I call this” too much unnecessary
repetitions” because the flag is already there!
4- there are too much copy whether it was the main headline or the body copy ( only simply line is enough to deliver the message)
other than that all is fine.
Thanks.

You are right about it being loaded with text, but I think that given the timing right after the eruptions in Palestine at the time, there was a lot that had to be said. Zeid, I can’t remember what the website URL was but if you can share it, I think everyone would have a better idea of what was behind the campaing. For the record, it was one of the first and only times, all the agencies came together in such force, and maybe that’s why we all look at it so proudly:) Thanks for clarifying your points RESTLESS, i dont agree, but everyone has an opinion:)

21. restless | December 3rd, 2007 at 7:46 pm
Zeid, how tiny it is?
22. biteme | December 5th, 2007 at 11:35 am

23. Zeid Nasser (Admin) | December 5th, 2007 at 11:43 am
But you know, size isn’t everything …..
Biteme’s agency also had creative work when it was 5 people.
And, to this day, the best creative work in the region is not related to agency size.
24. Just_a_guest | December 5th, 2007 at 3:50 pm
So since size isn’t everything.
Biteme, what’s your size of creativity?
25. biteme | December 5th, 2007 at 5:24 pm
didnt understand the question “what’s your size of creativity?”
26. restless | December 6th, 2007 at 10:13 am
its not the size, its the Effectiveness
yes i agree …
27. Just_a_guest | December 6th, 2007 at 2:52 pm
well, how many innovative ideas? how many creative evolutions?
so, what is the size of your creativity?
28. biteme | December 7th, 2007 at 8:31 am
Who determines what an innovative idea is? what is a creative evolution (the process or the end result)? What are the measurement parameters of the total size? I dont get your questions sorry…:(
