Very nice. I can taste the steak now.
Did you take this shot? If so who was the photographer?
2. Quick comment | August 11th, 2008 at 11:28 am
can you eat bulls??
3. Quick comment | August 11th, 2008 at 11:30 am
creative rules, why in the world would you want to know who the photographer is?
i bet youve never ever been in a position to choose your own photographer and i bet they have never sent you on a shoot alone with someone to look over your shoulder.
Maybe you should take your philipino maid to a shoot?

Dear Quick Comment, if I may suggest something. Kindly ‘tone down’ the personal attacks on Creative Rules.
We are here to discuss ‘the work’ not the ‘commentors’
5. Quick comment | August 11th, 2008 at 12:32 pm
if you havent noticed already there are quite a few people on this blog who get personal. Dont be a hypocrite Zeid, you cant claim that your website is all about the freedom of speech and then mention not to get personal or political. Either there is a freedom of speech or there isnt, you decide.
If you havent picked up on my earlier message about censoring the word “philipino”, you censored mine but not creative rules.
There is another fellow here who always insults people and you dont make your rules very strict with him either.
I guess thats typical middle east, no democaracy
6. Adrenaline | August 11th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
Nice, but can’t relate the 2 persons to a country.
No one is RUNING from the bull and no one is WAITING for him!!
7. Adrenaline | August 11th, 2008 at 12:43 pm
Quick comment :
Thanks for promoting democracy, but no thanks we are fine with whatever we have
8. khansa | August 11th, 2008 at 12:44 pm
Quick comment .. I agree with you ..
can we eat bulls .. if so , I’ll stop eating steaks since now ..
9. Zeid Nasser (Admin) | August 11th, 2008 at 1:31 pm
Quick Comment…. thank you for calling me a Hypocrite, you are so kind and well mannered!
Look, let me put it simply, you can say what you want if it’s not too political (as in national, regional, international politics).
As for attacking others, I have the right to ‘raise a flag’ as I see suitable. I shall not censor your or anyone’s attacks, except for using ‘*’ in place of foul words.
But I will let you know when I’m not pleased. Like I did today.
Surely, at least, I have that right as site admin and based upon complaints and feedback I am getting from my users.

nice buta fo wat?
11. Gibbo | August 11th, 2008 at 6:29 pm
like it. smart ad.
its like a movie, you don’t need to show everything all of the time.
Good point about eating bulls though.
Bulls testes are nice though…..
12. dozero | August 11th, 2008 at 6:56 pm
Sorry guys, but what this ad supposed to sell?!!
What is the added value to know that in Argentina they wait for bulls?!!
13. Adchemist | August 11th, 2008 at 7:16 pm
In spain, they run from Client. In UAE, they are Ok… But in Kuwait we still have to wait something good from them (BPG:)
14. Gibbo | August 12th, 2008 at 10:05 am
clearly it’s a restaurant dozero. that’s why we use logos. It will
give you an indication as to what they sell.
15. Creative Rules | August 12th, 2008 at 10:35 am
LOL
16. dozero | August 12th, 2008 at 8:01 pm
You made it clear Gibbo:)
So it is a restaurant (thanks God), they sell a bulls meat so we have to go to this place. what a great idea!!
Gibbo I was asking about HOW they want to sell themselves…
Actually, when you read the copy it makes big “SO WHAT?!!”, what is the important to me to know that in Argentina they wait for bulls.
So i suggest to hide for a while, you and your LOL friend until they hunt all the bulls they need . LOL
Because when i see your brains on my plate, i will throw it to my dog.
LOOOLOLOLLLLL
17. Creative Rules | August 12th, 2008 at 10:01 pm
Dozey you have never ever made sense in any posts you’ve made so far. It’s like you have sh*t for brains.
You are clearly a bloody moron.
18. dozero | August 12th, 2008 at 11:27 pm
LOL
19. amre husseini - AKA BITEME | August 13th, 2008 at 12:25 am
…to me it looks like a stock image of people hiding from a bull, not people waiting to hunt the bull, but that’s just me…
20. Maissy | August 13th, 2008 at 12:44 am
Funny
… Thumb up.
21. dozero | August 13th, 2008 at 4:41 am
All restaurant’s ads are selling something special in there food, ex. freshness, originality, good cooking….etc . Or creating a relationship between customers and the restaurant. That is why i should choose this restaurant. And here are some links or choose any restaurant’s ad you wish:

23. dozero | August 13th, 2008 at 4:44 am
some are good and some other are not. But all of them sell something. That is why i was asking about what this ad trying to sell. That makes sense.
Hey body, who gave you the right to judge my posts. just take care of your posts. Don’t comment on others’ point of view. Everybody has an opinion and has the right to say it. You are not a perfect man;)
I read previous comments on ads were posted to this website before i started to blog and i found you were always attacking and making troubles with other commentators. So don’t describe others by what you really are.
24. Gibbo | August 13th, 2008 at 4:21 pm
Dozero,
this restaurant’s point of difference is they sell argentine food. If you knew what this entailed, instead of just shawarma, you’d know exactly they offer. and conversely, why this ad really works.
their differentiation is that its South American food. they dont have to spell out freshness etc… they dont need to.
i dont know why such a simple ad is so hard to understand for people here???
and Amre, you’re kinda right. for me though, i think that traps been set somewhere off camera and they’re lying in wait. thats why i like it, it doesnt spell it all out.
25. dozero | August 13th, 2008 at 6:50 pm
Gibbo,
When we look to any ad we try to find out how people will get it not just judge it from our “personal culture”, this is what agood creative will do
So the point of Argentine food itself never been a point, I can believe you if it was for famous italian or mexican food and then it will be an old point too. so the case here
It is not enough to say argentina food . This ad may works - i say may- if they replaced the two persons with a chief and a cooker or a butcher then the ad would deliver experience or good cooking argntine food with the same copy either. This is not the only solution and may be not a good one. But this ad as it is not selling anything sorry.
Don’t bite me Gibbo
26. Moey | August 14th, 2008 at 2:50 am
it is good. love the ad
27. Gibbo | August 14th, 2008 at 12:23 pm
Hi dozey
getting pretty Schizophrenic in here at the moment isn’t it Bite me?????? Busted.
This sells south american culture, just like italian ads sell italian culture. look at the costume and the scenery. If you don’t get it, and think you need a chef hiding in the scene, well, maybe this ad isn’t targetting you.
i suppose you’d prefer just to show a pic of the food they sell with a headline “MMMM, nice meat”.
maybe you’re a couple of bulls short in the paddock????
28. quick comment | August 14th, 2008 at 1:26 pm
Zeid Nasser, you better control your blog.
if you dont want people insulting each other its happening right here. You suddenly disappeared.
Maybe creative rules is very close to you as a friend or perhaps a lover? who knows, its not any of our business though.
29. Creative rules | August 14th, 2008 at 1:42 pm
Bite me Dozero??? Bite me???That’s only ever been used by BITEME?
We’ve all had our suspicions but this is too much of a coincidence.
I said it before and I’ll say it again. Quick Comment and Dozero are the same poster.
Now….I wonder who this phantom poster could be? LOL
30. Gibbo | August 14th, 2008 at 2:14 pm
reminds me of two-face in batman.
good guy comes on, then the bad one!
31. Creative rules | August 14th, 2008 at 4:51 pm
You’ll also notice that neither of these user names exsisted before the Saraya commercial was ripped to shreds a few pages back on this blog. LOL
32. Zeid Nasser (Admin) | August 14th, 2008 at 8:58 pm
Quick Comment….. glad to see you came back.
And as you can see, anyone- even you- can say what they want about each other.
And no need to raise a new flag, as the conversation was actually less abusive than usual for the past couple of days.
Oh, wait, you weren’t part of it !
Welcome back… and say whatever the f*ck you want
33. Creative Rules | August 14th, 2008 at 9:43 pm
Zeid,
Now that you know who Qiuck Comment/Dozero really is… do yourself a favour and go back over the past few pages to the Saraya tvc post. Start reading from there and read their posts. It’s hillarious!!!!
I’ll give him this though… he’s really worked hard at it. LOL
34. dozero | August 14th, 2008 at 9:44 pm
Hey Gibbo or Ghaba2o choose what u want,
“This sells south american culture, just like italian ads sell italian culture” Really??
This use “Spanish” culture, idiot. LOL
Don’t open your mouth in things you don’t know.
“maybe this ad isn’t targetting you.”. Yes u r right, it is targetting ignorant people like you.
I think u r a bad follower for that idiot -He knows himself well.
No wonder the cheap coin has two faces. LOL
35. Creative Rules | August 14th, 2008 at 9:59 pm
Zeid there has to be a way you can stop the same person posting under different usernames. Mind you… it’s a great source of entertainment. LOL
36. dozero | August 14th, 2008 at 10:10 pm
The mind of somebody here doesn’t accept the truth that there are many people saw him like an idiot.his mind refuses this and making them one person to be happy LOL
Live idiot. be happy ! this is the best slogan selling your personality campaign. LOL
37. amre husseini - AKA BITEME | August 14th, 2008 at 10:13 pm
First off creative rules, seriously sometimes you say stuff that makes me really question your ability to run a creative department, at other times you show stuff that really gives you credibility. Let’s not forget who was the one who used multiple personalities with the name FRED my friend.
I think if you read dozero’s comment that included the phrase bite me, he was referring to a claim you made in an earlier post.
Since I made a post in late 2007 promising to keep things civil, I have done just that, if you would like to mix it up again we can start all over.
As for your comments about the Saraya TVC, to each his own my friend, at least I sleep easy knowing full well it wasnt stolen from an archive MR. CAULIFLOWER…so lets not sling shit if we’re not big enuf to back it up…
38. Creative Rules | August 14th, 2008 at 10:48 pm
So this you being civil? LOL
39. Creative Rules | August 14th, 2008 at 11:01 pm
Aaron Arthur,
Very nice line mate. In this age of visual ideas ruling concepts It’s good to see there’s still someone who can write good copy.
Cheers
40. amre husseini - AKA BITEME | August 14th, 2008 at 11:04 pm
Yes this is civil all fact, all straight to the point, no false accusations, no slinging or swinging just fact; is this yo realizing your wrong?
41. Creative Rules | August 14th, 2008 at 11:07 pm
I think I’ll have a nice big juicy steak. This ad has really worked. Thanks BPG
42. amre husseini - AKA BITEME | August 15th, 2008 at 12:36 am
just as I thought…LOL
43. quick comment | August 15th, 2008 at 4:58 pm
Creative rules runs a creative department?? now that is the funniest thing ive heard for a while.
Does he do it with his ******* maid?
He posts a comment on every ad, how does he have time?
ps Cheers Zeid
pps Please tell everyone that we are not the same people, you would know from which countries we are posting wont you? or atleast the time difference? or is that too high tech? im not a tech guy so i dont have a clue.
44. amre husseini - AKA BITEME | August 15th, 2008 at 6:45 pm
From our understanding he has one of his team monitoring adblogarabia and jazarah through out the day and updating him so it seems he’s using Jordanian creative talents as his maids…
45. dozero | August 15th, 2008 at 9:13 pm
Funny! LOL
