  A congrats card for quitting, on a cigarette pack, mmm… I ain’t quite sure if it fits… although, it looks funny…

  It’s a nice idea, but the art direction is bad, and i have some comments for the copywriter:

  First of all WE don’t say ( MABROOK) WE must say (MUBARK), becouse MABROOK is one of the Devil names in ISLAM, and this ad is talking to MUSLIM people.

  Also this line is not working (This Ramadan you will stop smoking for a month) cuz they don’t, and the fact is they smoke after EFTAR, so they are reducing the number of cigarettes in Ramadan and they don’t stop for a month, so i think the copy should be something like this ( it’s your opportunity to stop smoking in Ramadan). don’t you agree guys?

  AbdallaH Sumrin, its MUBARAK, and yes i agree with you man good points, i bet you that the redirector is Hindu Indian or Australian.

  It would work alot better if it were a real pack of cigarettes.Something to handout to all those people destroying us passive smoker’s lives.

  Imagine if you could actually print something on the actual cigarette. Like a long line along one end to the other with a zero at the top end and say a number ten at the butt end. A copy line running the full length above it reads: “each cigarette burns 10 seconds off your life”. As they inhale they watch it get closer and closer to the 10.

  @ Creative Rules, I’m a smoker, but that’s a very good idea…

  @AbdallaH Sumrin, In Egypt we say Mabrook not Mubarak… I also didn’t know that it’s a devil name in Islam…

  Might mock it up and see if some anti smoking body will endorse it. I’m an ex smoker and we are the most anti of all.

  Hi all, I really have some comments:
  1. the background is dark
  2. the shadows are forced
  3. is there a need to put telephone and fax and website.. it looks like an advertising for ddb itself..
  4. in the copy (This ramadan… etc) there is no need to end with fullstop. bec. it should look like a part of the pack..

  is it just me who see something missing here, i mean a cigarette pack with a greeting message for ramadan doesn’t seem like (Quit Smoking) more like (you can see but you can’t smoke)
