I like these. The sail one is neat. So is the slide. The lamp looks like one more of those ‘against the skyline’ cliches. But good art direction and leaves a smile on your face.

Nice ads…but these concepts are beginning to look like old hat now…more and more art directors are relying on photoshop to get the job done

Cool, first time for Ikea… sumthing fresh. Nice Local flave, but I don’t like the headline.. could be larger than life.. Ikea, Inspiring. Keep it up, GMASCO.. get rid of those thrashy wallpaper ads from Dubai..

Tired idea, no strategy and photoshoped to death.

Sorry, Ikea deserve something more lateral and fresh.

Everywhere around the world they do great stuff that is surprising and original.

I disagree with you Razor. These are fresh, especially when considered they are for a UAE market. Using UAE specific culture and monuments, these make a lot of sense. Agreed there is Photoshop, but then such an execution merits its use. I loved these…

The UAE market is a first world market where we do world class ideas that are understood and appreciated.

Look at the great world class work in our Lynx awards.

You don’t need to use UAE icons and culture to be relevant here.

    Just my opinion.

I don’t believe you all like this campaign!! (except you razor)

    Wat’s happening to IKEA?!!

This campaign looks cheap…. no concept, bad re-touching and overall it is another cliché.

Sack GMASCO and get your creative from Sweden.
