Egg-vertising, a new trend?
July 18th, 2006 Zeid Nasser (Admin)
This is an advertisement now being discussed on many advertising blogs.
American TV network, CBS, is using this campaign to promote this season’s programs; with CBS copywriters referring to this approach as “egg-vertising.”
Notice how they tie in egg-themes to the shows:
CSI (“Crack the Case on CBS”)
The Amazing Race (“Scramble to Win on CBS”)
Shark (“Hard-Boiled Drama.”).
Monday Night Comedy Shows (“Shelling Out Laughs,” “Funny Side Up” and “Leave the Yolks to Us.”)
The idea isn’t too impressive. One must wonder why it’s causing such a commotion in the US.
It’s far from egg-cellent.
