Each train tells part of the ‘Heinz story’
September 28th, 2006 Zeid Nasser (Admin)

This has got to be a first in the region.
Every one of these ‘fully branded’ trains in Egypt tells a story of how Heinz ketchup is made.
The graphics are comic style featuring the same characters but delivering different messages, while using the Heinz logo and images of the ketchup bottles all over the drawings.
Great stuff. Well done Leo Burnett Cairo, and it’s pleasing to see that the train company played along with this creative idea and the client was ready to do it.
Even if you pay a public transport company for a promotion, you need them to be open to this kind of idea.

great idea, it is fresh, has novelty value and does public service of painting a mode of public transportation. does it mar the cityscape, i would assume it looks way better than whatever colour the train used to be prior to getting the face lift.
i like to think about such campaigns evolving out of frustrated do they expect us to paint the entire train or what leading on to a yeah why not.
most importantly u see it once and will definitely register heinz in the mind map.
