but unfortunately i’ve completely lost my mind :D this is one of minimalist visualization with full of message. I believe so :D

    Very smart…very simple

  • 3. Dozero  |  August 22nd, 2008 at 5:42 am

    Hahaha… I love this.

  • 4. Creative Rules  |  August 22nd, 2008 at 6:44 am

What a wasted opportunity. For God’s sake how often have we seen the old yellow reminder note. I’m surprised there’s also not the cliche fridge magnet as well. Yaaaawn.

  • 5. Dozero  |  August 22nd, 2008 at 7:30 am

Actually, this ad is very different from others.
Simply because the ad is for POST-IT brand which is the yellow reminder note is one of its products and they use this very well to announce alzheimer’s day.

  • 6. shakemo  |  August 22nd, 2008 at 10:56 am

I’m with Creative Rules. I don’t care if it’s for POST-IT or not, it’s boring and a missed opportunity. Yaaaawn.

It’s first thought stuff, work harder on your ideas BPG.

  • 7. quick comment  |  August 22nd, 2008 at 2:05 pm

hello guys? this IS for post-it, that is THEIR product so ofcourse they will use a bloody post-it.
Its like saying why did Mercedes use a Mercedes car, that is such a cliche.

Personally I think this would have worked better as an ambient idea rather than a print ad. I would have taken a random page from a magazine, like an editorial and actually stuck a real post it with that message on it.

Post It Notes were created by a 3M employee because he was always forgetting stuff. The headline of this ad is DONT FORGET the call for action is for the reader to donate to the cause. LIke quick comment said this ad is issued in interest by Post It / 3M; display your product in a scenario where it excels and associate it to you CSR initiatives that’s why its so good.

  • 9. Dozero  |  August 22nd, 2008 at 7:55 pm

agree with amre, as well as you have said, they choose the the right CSR initiative to be associated with in addition to the humor sense in this ad. and i agree with Quick comment this is perfect ambient idea.

    very smart!!

  • 13. Creative Rules  |  August 23rd, 2008 at 8:31 am

Of course they had to use a POST-IT product in the ad!!! Obviously. But for crying out loud couldn’t they have done it with alot more thought and made it look far more visually appealling. It was just plonked on the ad as if they had five minutes to do it and rushed out the door. 3outa10

  • 14. Creative Rules  |  August 23rd, 2008 at 8:33 am

  • 17. Creative Rules  |  August 23rd, 2008 at 11:56 am

Unfortunetly the real yelllow sticker inside a magazine or in the newspaper has been done. Good idea though.

  • 18. Creative Rules  |  August 23rd, 2008 at 12:03 pm

Of course i mean post #4 and post #13 it is funnier LOL

  • 21. Creative rules  |  August 24th, 2008 at 6:48 pm

It gets even more funny on the Career Junction thread. LOL

  • 22. amre husseini - AKA BITEME  |  August 24th, 2008 at 8:42 pm

so how does some thing get even more funny? What is your copywriter away today are you stuck typing your own blogs? Try “it gets even funnier” and I thought english was your first language…LOL

  • 23. Creative Rules  |  August 24th, 2008 at 10:07 pm

If you really understood English you’d know that you can’t say it gets ‘even more funnier’ because it’s an oxynoron. Moron.

  • 24. amre husseini - AKA BITEME  |  August 24th, 2008 at 11:15 pm

Where did I say “even more funnier” idiot read my post it says “it gets even funnier” whereas you said “more funny” which incorrect usage of the language “funnier” is the correct term. Now you can slowly remove your foot from your mouth…go ahead no one is watching…

Oh thanks for proving me right…YOU ARE A RETARD!

  • 25. Dozero  |  August 25th, 2008 at 12:31 am

He is just up the road..LOL

  • 26. Creative Rules  |  August 25th, 2008 at 12:35 am

    Ventriloquist

  • 27. amre husseini - AKA BITEME  |  August 25th, 2008 at 1:07 am

amazing way to avoid the subject again…just say “sorry I dont know how to read” and close the subject…

Oh and I think even your attempted insult “ventriloquist” doesnt make sense in this context, no one’s talking let alone moving their lips…

Go on run to a dictionary or think of another one I’ll be waiting and my apologies that you cant get a copywriter to look up a better word for you at this time of night…

  • 28. Gibbo  |  August 25th, 2008 at 3:04 pm

    Hey creative rules,

so is this why you couldnt play tennis last night?

  • 29. kusum  |  August 26th, 2008 at 2:34 pm

Couldn’t the line just have been ‘World Alzheimer’s Day’.

Don’t forget could have been subliminal to the brand, Post-it, itself.

At least that would have been more clever.

    Just my own two bits.

  • 30. Moey  |  August 27th, 2008 at 10:59 am

    I love it.
