Celebrity images on aeroplanes?
September 19th, 2006 Zeid Nasser (Admin)

As part of its celebration of its 5th anniversary, SkyEurope Airlines has put Slovakian model Adriana Sklenarikova-Karembeu’s image on some of its jets.
Maybe they thought this attractive model would help them sell more tickets!
Not surprisingly, the campaign was denounced by some feminist groups in Europe.
So, does this mean that we’ll soon have Nancy Ajram’s image on an aircraft in our our region?
I hope not!

since their graphic designer did a pretty shitty job resulting in some mandatory elements being placed over adriana’s eye, it’s hard to predict whether it will help.
anyway, SkyEurope is in such a deep slump financialy that nothing can rescue them. not even publicity resulting from this little stunt in the most-read papers here in Slovakia.
