Usually, we don’t feature work of non-Middle Eastern advertising agencies, but this is an exception because it features an Arab leader.

The Epica Awards are now in their 21th year.Their aim is to encourage the highest standards of creativity in advertising and to help agencies, film production companies and photographers to develop their reputations. And, best of all, Epica are accepting entries from Middle Eastern advertising agencies!
Click Here to get instructions on how to enter. Or send an email to Andrew Rawlins at info@epica-awards.com.
Epica entries are judged on the basis of 2 criteria only: the originality of the creative idea and the quality of its execution. The highest scoring entries in each category are the category winners (gold) - on condition that the work achieves a score that qualifies it as a winner. Other entries that do not win but achieve this score are finalists (silver & bronze). When no entry meets the standard there are no winners or finalists in the category.
Winners receive Epica pyramids and certificates. Finalists receive certificates. All winners and finalists are published in the Epica Book together with a selection of other short-listed entries.
Complete results of the 2007 awards will be announced on the Epica website in December 2007.

Source Adobe Blog: “To represent this rich family of products, Adobe is introducing the Photoshop visual logo. This logo will soon appear in all Photoshop-related marketing, so keep an eye out for it. The Photoshop logo on a product, service, or technology, represents the rich legacy, technical quality, and attention to detail that has made Photoshop the gold standard in digital imaging.”

Frederik Samuel writes: DDB has undergone a global rebrand. They got rid of the black circle around the logo, which had a very 90’s like feeling to it. They did keep the circle, but it’s now a “degree” symbol. I like the new logo better than the old one, and think it will work for them.
