Band names re-colored …. by Proctor & Gamble

October 15th, 2006 Zeid Nasser (Admin)

Light Purple
Deep Purple becomes Light Purple

PinkHotChilliPeppers
Red Hot Chilli Peppers become Pink

Grey Sabbath
Grey Sabbath used to be Black

Maybe someone can explain to us what’s the idea here!

These are shirts designed by Saatchi & Saatchi Budapest for Proctor and Gamble, in which the names of these famous bands have been changed, by changing the color in their name.

Any ideas?

Perhaps, using a (non-P&G) detergent results in clothes fading. Deep becomes light, red becomes pink… etc.

must be a washing powder ad since its p&g, to prevent your red from turning pink, dark to light and black to grey.
but it does not look like an ad layout. or is the t-shirt the medium

I supposse you both got it right…. using a P&G detergent will keep the bands in their original colors.

Thanks Alex, for your many insightful comments, and thanks Leela!

I was about to say the same, so that must be the reason…Is that hard to understand?
