it is nice, but what brings it down is that you already see the word push on doors, so it would be very easy not to notice the communication or ambient media usage…

this is great!!

amre, thats the beauty of it, if you notice it its a great little joke and i think 80% of people will notice it. I have a phobia of looking like an idiot when i walk into somewhere so I always read if it says pull or push.
Reminds me of that classic Garry Larson sketch:

for all those singing praises for this idea…kindly check your one show archives…this one has already been done in ambient and poster category and won handsomely at major award shows….for storks…….excellent inspirational work….

everytime i like something on this blog it has been done, Jeez! Come on Middle East do something original for Gods sake!
(Mind you most of the creatives in Dubai seem to be from India)
So i should change that and say, come on Indian guys living and working in Dubai do something original!

nice thinking, if it’s a copykat, than the original is “nice thinking”.
Creative Rules, you are meeeeaaaaan my friend

i tell you what is a joke, a creative from new zealand in amman, now that is hilarious.
If you like the market in amman so much you should be putting the bar higher and winning loads of awards, taking advantage of the market to stand out creatively, excpet youre work is just average, it blends in with the rest. What have you brought from new zealand that benefits the ad world in jordan?

hey creative rules in post #10 quickcomment said “bite him” not “bite me”
quickcomment you know how much I love when people mess with creative rules (no offense peter) but seriously I’m getting the impression that you’re tearing apart the creative quality coming out of Jordan and that’s kind of insulting to me; wherein I find that in print advertising and radio Jordan is doing great….
14. Quck comment | October 12th, 2008 at 11:26 pm
hey amre prove me wrong. Where is this print thats doing great? Why isnt radio posted on here?
Admin? where is the radio?

You should know what I’ve bought to this market Amre Husseini/Bite me/Quick comment/Dozero/Anti visual Pollution. (All the same schizo person for those new posters here)
You’re the one that has sat there envious watching us clean up every year in every award show and every important new business pitch in the past five years.

Again with the conspiracy theories, that’s all good though…
you’re right creative rules, in all honesty you are amazing and i wake up every morning dreaming of the moment where I can learn from you and the amazing work that you produce.
Quick comment, i promise you that next time I come across an ad in the newspapers that stands out to me I will make sure to send it to Zeid so you can all comment on it, there are quite a few actually…

THE FIRST TIME I SAW THIS IN A ONE SHOW ANNUAL (MAYBE IN THE MID 90s), I SCREAMED “I WISH I HAD DONE IT!” IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, IT HAD WON A GOLD IN THE OUTDOOR CATEGORY. NOW WHEN I SEE IT HERE BEING PRAISED BY GUYS WHO ARE IGNORANT, MY BLOOD BOILS. GUYS, WHY CAN’T YOU ALL LOOK UP THOSE OLD ONE SHOW ANNUALS AND CHECK OUT THE WORK DONE BY LEGENDARY AGENCIES LIKE FALLON McELLIGOTT AND WEIDEN & KENNEDY? YOU GUYS ARE SURELY MISSING OUT ON SOME OF THE MOST ORIGINAL WORK EVER PRODUCED. MOST OF WHAT’S DONE TODAY ARE RECYCLED STUFF. IF YOU WERE ALL AWARE OF SUCH BRILLIANT WORK, COPYCATS LIKE THESE WON’T STAND A CHANCE TO GET THEIR “CREATIONS” PUBLISHED, LET ALONE ENTER THEM IN AWARD SHOWS LIKE CANNES. GOD HELP US.

HAHAAHAH That’s a real burn for Partnership. I’m pretty sure the ECD / Copywriter is well aware of the ad. But the fact that he has still gone ahead and done it, says a lot about the place
