Shocking campaign: Second Hand Smoking

Rishad Lawyer from Gulf Promoaction DDB writes: Second hand smoking is almost 3 times as detrimental to the second party inhaling the smoke than it is even to the smoker him/herself. In the Gulf region, second hand smoking is widespread and almost never fully addressed. We see many anti-smoking ad campaigns that target the ‘smoker’ him/herself. But what about all those forced to inhale their smoke through no choice of their own? Through this campaign, we hope to raise awareness of this issue. Featured are two children (a boy and a girl) who are being force-fed a cigarette and a cigar by a second hand. The kids act as an ‘emotional tug’ as it’s a well-known fact that children’s lungs are even more vulnerable (than adults) to damage through air pollutants.
