37 Kids Murdered (km). Lebanon.300706
This is poster created by a Greek designer, Fetanis Ioannis, as a reminder of the number of children who lost their lives in this summer’s war on Lebanon; using the image of a speed limit sign.
Lebanon 300706 refers to the date of the Qana massacre.

Take a look at the banner above for Virgin airlines on the Sydney Morning Herald website.
It shows an aircraft flying out of the ad. The only problem is that it looks like it’s flying into the World Trade Center tower to it’s left!
A news item about September 11 on this site is adjacent to the banner, and that’s how ‘unfortunate incidents’ happen. It’s proof that online media buying is quite challenging and requires extra care on news sites!
A couple of months ago, we blogged about another ‘unfortunate incident’ in which banner said ‘don’t watch your profits go up in smoke’ beside a news photo of a Beirut building on fire!
Maybe news sites should just stop taking banners that potentially cause such controversy.
