TheDubaiLife.com is a magazine for those involved in the real estate and construction sectors, addressing the concerns of workers in Dubai.
It’s quite controversial raising issues about the plight of construction workers in Dubai. Its Spring 2006 issue even organized an online petition for Internet users to protest.
This comes at a time of riots and some unrest in the sector, and it shows that ‘activist publishers’ will be using the Internet to get their opinions across. Maybe the online world, for now, is a safer haven.
