100 million websites and over 50% are blogs!

Netcraft, an Internet monitoring company that has tracked Web growth since 1995, says a mammoth milestone was reached during the month of October.

“There are now 100 million Web sites with domain names and content on them,” said Netcraft’s Rich Miller.

Technorati claims to be monitoring 55 million blogs. If that is true, then 55% of Internet websites today are blogs.

Now that’s shocking!

    I doubt this survey because i read previously that 70% or more of the websites are Porn! I think i read that on CNN.
